So, here's the scenario. I come into the library this morning, log on, and quickly find the latest "farewell blog" from a blogger who has basically made a whole blog of farewell blog's. The gist is this: you guys aren't treating me the way I want to be treated, so I'm gonna take my ball and go home.
My response: fine. Don't let the door hit you. You may be fed up with us because our answers don't extol your virtues and extol you as the purveyor of all wisdom, but, frankly, I'm equally fed up with your whiny victim mentality. Every time you post an article, you're quick to flame anyone with an opposing view, no matter how tactfully put. And when you're called to the carpet, what do you do? Play the victim card again, blaming it on depression or any other excuse you can name. it's revolting and overdone.
I've never claimed to be fair, never claimed to be balanced. I do, however, attempt to be honest. Frankly, however, if anything, I've been tactful. But the tact filter's quickly been broken by your accusations that I've somehow been less than cordial, less than respectful of you and your opinion. Frankly, the fact that you are so obviously mentally unstable really causes me to question your fitness for the job you've chosen as a career. Wisdom on your part might mean hiding some of your articles so that fellow educators or (gasp!) those ignorant, stupid parents who must bow to your wisdom because you are their intellectual superior.
If you can't stand the heat, frankly....getting out of the kitchen might be a good game plan. It doesn't get a whole lot better than this, sorry.
