The journey from there to here

WARNING: I put this under "humor", and must warn readers that it's decidedly dark humour before they proceed. But I DO want all readers to understand that this is meant for satirical purposes only, and that if you have lost a loved one to violent crime, this is not meant to ridicule or minimize your grief.

In an article (Link ) that got too little attention for the subject matter, Locamama described a situation where a hanged woman was overlooked by passersby who thought it was a Halloween decoration.

In the spirit of that article, I would like to declare October 31 as annual "dump your bodies" day. Yup, folks, time to clean those skeletons out of the closet and put them up for public display (preferably on someone else's property). Not only can you potentially hide incriminating evidence, you can enjoy the additional fun on November 1 when CSI teams come out to investigate the scene (to all you Vegas dwellers: sorry, but Grissom's a FICTIONAL character).

The possibilities here are endless. Have an annoying neighbor you want to enact revenge on? Put last year's kill on their front lawn and keep the camcorder rolling as investigators rip through their personal belongings to find vital clues. Want to bring some excitement to your church? Put a body on the parsonage lawn and watch the pastor turn pale.

Yup, folks, Halloween's NOT for kids anymore, so get on out there and enjoy the fun in a way that only Ted Bundy, John Wayne Gacy or Ed Gein could TRULY appreciate!
