Jumping on the "starve a liberal" bandwagon

Well, I'm not usually a bandwagon jumper, but I thought it was time to jump on the "starve a liberal" bandwagon.

Let me explain why....no, it would take too long, let me sum up.

A former JU user replied to my JU article on overpopulation on my other blog site. The problem is, he replied off topic to another article, despite the fact that the overpopulation article is also listed on the other site. The meat of his argument? "You're an idiot!"

That's right; no dissection of facts, no analysis of the statistics presented, simply an outright declaration of my stupidity in the light of his superior omniscience. Sadly, this has become a liberal standard...question their numbers and they automatically question your intelligence; after all, only a MORON could differ with the utopia they want to force on us, right?

Now, this got me to thinking further: if I was convinced the world was overpopulated to the point of being a crisis, I truly think I would end my life and thus eliminate my personal usage of the world's resources. It would be the least hypocritical thing I could do, don't you think? But see, I'm not convinced of it, so I don't see the need to promote suicide cults to reduce the world's population. And I am NOT advocating that liberals do such a thing, simply stating that by NOT doing such a thing, they are in essence agreeing the earth is not really overpopulated.

So why would they press the numbers that state that we are? Thre reasons: control, control, and control. By convincing us of a population program, they can advance eugenic policies that destroy inferior genes in utero and weigh the value of medical treatment for seniors versus euthanasia. They can further invade our households by placing limits on the number of children that we can bear and raising those children in their socialist utopia so that the children are trained to the propaganda machine.

The leftist agenda is EXTREMELY sinister. And we SHOULD fear it, as its logical end is the end of freedom for all Americans. They are advancing the concept of a totalitarian state that Stalin would envy.

All good arguments for subtitling this article "why I support the second amendment".

Ah to long for the days of socialist utopia where everyone whom the government has deemed worthy to be born according to the desired population levels can work every day safe in the knowledge that all of their efforts are going to support the wonderful cause of true security and safety in the arms of big brother. Where everyone is equally poor and comfortably indebted to the wonderfully benign government for all of their needs, when available of course.

The leftist agenda is EXTREMELY sinister.

Most of those that call themselves 'leftists' here at JU are in effect NOT!!! Therefore I beg to differ with that statement.
There is alot of rhetoric here both from the right and the left.. a good part is pure nonsense.

Yeah - getting a little sick of the Hitlers and Stalins having blogs. Unfortunatly, those in the middle are misled by the Hitlers and Stalins and so we bounce back and forth with both sides saving their own asses when they get in power and doing nearly the same thing. Never thought the Republicans would be nation building or interfereing in the afairs of a state, or the Democrats complaining about nation building. I'm not sure who gets the blame on the baseball thing.

I don't think anyone on JU qualifies as a hitler or stalin. Yes, we have a wide swath of poliical views, including conservative, capitalist, libertarian, liberal, progressive, socialist (such as myself), I don't think there are any people on this site as insane as hitler or stalin, or any people who idolize hitler or stalin, or are advocating their policies. They don't belong in any political category. You need a new one to describe them: insane madmen.

You may think this is a knee jerk response, but it's not. I HATE the American left; I cannot elaborate the reasons why at this time, but suffice it to say they've taken much from me in their quest to create a utopia. This isn't paranoia,it's fact and personal experience.

I'm not a true conservative; I am a libertarian, but I have one thing in common with conservatives: my firm dislike for the American left. Everything they are about is eliminating freedoms for one segment of society or another. When I am finally able to tell my story,you will understand why I feel this way.

I can guess who the poster was. Usually those most insecure in thie stands are thos who beleive for no reason than they were told to do so. There are some on the right that when you question their beleifs respond in the same way. But the majority do tend to be liberals.

I like your idea of put up or shut up! That would get rid of a lot of morons!

I don't have a problem with you disliking the American left. You're entitled to your opinions just as I am entitled to mine. I just get annoyed when people compare conservatives and liberals to people like Hitler and Stalin. It just seems like a lack of perspective to me when someone says that someone like, (insert Democratic politician here), can compare to Stalin, a madman that killed millions of people. Same for (insert Republican politician here) and Hitler.

The right is also trying to create a totalitarian plice state, with the Patriot Act, Ashcroft, racial profiling, etc. And the sorry excuse for a left in America isn't helping either. D or R, they're both the same
