The journey from there to here
Well, folks, it's a glorious day and the sun is shining over the city of Boston. The Bosox now stand 2 1/2 games behind the New York Yankees and the Yanks are minus one stellar pitcher in Kevin Brown who hit the clubhouse with his hand in disgust following their loss.

Now, I'm not one to revel in others' misfortune, but...it's the YANKEES. Even if I were a fan (which I am, most decidedly, NOT), they have won more than their share of titles, so for them to stay home in October would not be a bad thing.

Now, if anyone has any good recipes for crow, I need them, as I predicted the Bosox would fold with the trading of Garciaparra to the Chicago Cubbies.

signing off,

Gideon MacLeish

The Red Sox haven't done it yet.... it looks good and all, but seeing is believing....

no, they haven't done it yet...but they haven't faded yet, either.

Pluck crow and remove innards and beak,
salt and pepper lightly; bake at 375 for 20 minutes
place on cooling rack for 10 minutes, carve and enjoy!
Just in case, gid
