The journey from there to here

OK,

So in my quest for gainful employment I am not turning anything down, and there was a listing for a handyman/security at one of the local brothels. I decided to go check it out.

While there, I was invited to take a tour of the facilities with one of the ladies. I was very impressed with a rather high class facility...it was every bit as nice as the finer hotels in Vegas (although one certainly pays for the use of the facilities...Private bungalows with the ladies rent out starting a $3k/night...rooms and hourly rates are, of course, cheaper).

We checked out the two jacuzzi rooms (sex isn't allowed in those rooms...they're a place to unwind), then the "bubble" room (where sexual activity is allowed...they sanitize everything between guests). Then came the interesting room...the bondage room. Basically a nicely decorated dungeon complete with shackles and all the comforts of a sado-masochist's home. Oh, yeah, and a stripper pole and a small stage.

All in all it was an interesting tour, and I wouldn't mind working there to get a better understanding of this much misunderstood profession.

signing off,

Gideon MacLeish

Kind of reminds me of when I interviewed for an Sys. Admin position for a Porn Site, totally professional. Kinda strange....good luck!!

rofl xtine...

actually, I believe they're very strict on employees conducting themselves as professionals, which is not a problem for me.

(a side benefit, though...my wife might get a little more adventuresome to try to keep me from getting lured "to the dark side"....lol)

Interesting. The first one I went to wasn't near so nice (or legal). I guess I need to write a blog about my first trip to one...

lol...well, that's one of the nice perks about legal prostitution. Though some of the more out of the way brothels are hole in the walls, the closer in you get to Vegas, the nicer they have to be to compete with sin city (otherwise, people are inclined to pick one off the street there, where it is illegal). Frankly, I don't completely understand the mentality if you're going into Vegas. I am reasonably certain that just about anyone so inclined could get laid in Vegas and not have it cost them more than dinner and a show. Kinda makes me wish I'd grown up here...I could so have been the "playa" in vegas....

I saw the title and knew it was you on a job hunt Gid!
Don't count on your wife trying to keep you from the dark side though... If she reads your blog you are done for anyway!

gideon............the problem with brothels is that there are to many rules. i have only visited a brothel 3 times. acually, i oppose such immoral conduct therefore i have never had sex with a prostitute. also i don't like blatantly paying for such things.

You pay me now, or you pay me later....Fram and female companionship.

I don't patronize the places, but I would be OK with working there, especially if they hire me on as security. By the way, as posted on another thread, I have a followup interview there! (and yes, my wife knows, and she's cool with it).

I actually think my "family man" status might be a bonus in getting hired. My guess would be that a lot of guys go to work there thinking they'll get an "employee discount", when in fact, it is a job and is to be treated as such. The fact that I am well aware of that just may help me out here.
