For those of you who don't know, I went back to school last fall to get my Associate's in Computer Technology. My long range goals are to get my Bachelor's in Business Administration, then head on to law school.
Well, the first summer semester's out of the way, and I have no classes scheduled for summer 2. I'm going to knock out a few certificates over the "down" weeks (for me, there are NEVER "down" weeks...I'll also be working up the October Woody Guthrie tribute, so the devil won't have any time for THESE hands!).
While I don't know my final grades as yet, the only question really is are they A's or B's. Or one A, one B. The difference between maintaining my 4.0 average since returning or possibly taking a "hit" on it. But, basically, passing isn't my concern.
So now 13 credits stand between me and an Associate's degree. 13 credits will be significantly lighter than the 19 credit per semester run of the 06-07 school year. And it should provide me with a "calm before the storm" before I get to work on the Bachelor's degree.
As I told someone a few years back, going back was never a question. It was a matter of getting things squared away. And now that I am back, now that those things are squared away, i'm ready to get on with it.
