But seriously:

There was a young boy
He was born, he lived, he died
Now this is the end

Not only short, but haiku

I think 42 pretty much summed it up . . .

Did you know that if you Google "42" it actually brings up Hitchhiker's first? That's sooo cool.

Nice haiku, btw.

Gid,

Funny, I only rewatched the movie last weekend. I'm trying to hunt up the original television series on DVD. But you're right, after '42', nothing more needs to be said but the question.

I like the haiku too.

That's sooo cool

Yes, it is

If you think THAT'S cool, I'll have to send a pic of my shirt that should be arriving when DHL gets done routing it all over the country (California to New Jersey to Ohio to Waco, Texas? That's just FLIPPING NUTS!!!!!). It's a standard workshirt, with a patch over the pocket that says simply "42". (from thinkgeek.com)

Makes me proud to work at a workplace that GETS IT! Now, I have to earn enough geek points to get my red swingline stapler!

Ooooo! I need one of those! You definitely need to post a pic.

Yes, Gid, please post a picture. I think I'm going to have to order one myself.

Paul is all!

Once you have 42 that's all there is.

Maso, if you can't find it, I know I've seen three or four copies around here (yes, one of them is mine.) I'll pick one up and mail it to you if you can't find it anywhere.

Well I definately learned something! I didn't know about Haiku before and I had forgotten how important the number 42 is to other people!

It does says it all.

I liked your haiku. Maybe we should do haiku challenges, too. I know I love reading them.
