The journey from there to here

As if these guys didn't have enough to do preaching at us humans for
their lifestyle, now the Australian animal rights activists are
complaining that pet owners are overfeeding their pets and that the
obesity epidemic is extending to these animals.

I don't know about you, but I don't sleep any better at night knowing
our governments are spending excessive amounts of money to study the
eating habits of domesticated animals. What concerns me is that, in
the next 10-15 years, we could begin to see the animal control
authorities exercise as much illegal authority as CPS "in the best
interest of the animals".

To be proactive, however, I have cut my dog's portions and removed his
portion of meat scraps from his daily diet. I can't interpret canine
facial expressions, but from the look on his face, I'm willing to bet
he's pissed.

Interesting enough, we had to take #7 to the vets this weekend, and we saw a chart.  On pet obesity.  Suffice it to say that if your pet is not skin and bones, they are fat!  I dont agree with with that at all!  The Food pyramid has moved to the animal world!  Yuck!

Perhaps you're going the way of Britain where everything is controlled by "big nanny". Soon you could be arrested for having a fat pet!

I blame it all on too much television and video games.
