What Kind of American English do you Speak?

25% Yankee

20% Dixie

5% Upper Midwestern

Trade you my 10% yankee for your 10% dixie (I am 65% general, 25% Dixie and 10% Yankee - and I have only visited Yankee territory!)

And as long as I'm here, here's my results from the other thread:

40% Yankee

10% Dixie

I just thought of one way the dixie part may make sense. I've got family in both Virginia and North Carolina. Maybe they affect my speech.
